Our Disaster Relief Committee’s logistical talents have been tested today with a full schedule of PPE deliveries throughout the Province.
With the support of members from the Derbyshire’s Motorcycle Lodge No. 9950 the team ensured a number of medical, veterinary and social care centres received much needed supplies of Personal Protective Equipment.
As well as destinations mentioned in previous posts, face shields were delivered to Vernon Street and the Lanes Medical Centres in Derby. The staff of these surgeries, will use the face shields when treating patients. The surgeries have previously taken delivery of hand sanitisers earlier this week.
Karen Lloyd the Practice Manager and all her staff expressed their gratitude to The Provincial Grand Lodge of Derbyshire for their assistance in providing the extra PPE.
The team at Newhall Day Centre in Swadlincote received a consignment of face visors yesterday and, as well as their thanks, have sent us some photos.
This week’s PPE delivery totals:-
995 face visors
16,800 pairs of nitrile gloves
